Who we are
The communications and marketing team manages all internal and external communications for the Trust.
What we do
Some of the work we do includes newsletters, online communications, media relations, social media, marketing and a variety of other services.
Our aim is to help improve communications across the organisation, helping staff to do their jobs well.
We also help improve communications to our patients and visitors. Communicating effectively is vital to the effective running of every organisation.
We produce weekly (Intouch), quarterly (Insight), business critical updates to staff, as well as managing monthly Core Brief sessions with managers and campaign specific updates for the RLB Podcast, Patient Safety , 1000 Voices and R Charity bulletins. We also provide communications support and advice to staff on any campaigns.
Our team supports any external media campaigns with other stakeholders, including flu campaigns, winter messages and awareness events such as Organ Donation Week.
We manage any media queries and promote our services to local, regional and national press. Our team also produce the Trust Annual Report.
Online and Social Media
We manage the Trust website, Intranet and social media pages, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and Snapchat. We also create our own video and audio for these pages.
VIP Events and Visits
VIP events and any other external visits, such as those by Government ministers, are co-ordinated by our team.
Filming and interview requests
Please contact the team regarding any requests to film on Trust premises or to interview members of staff. You can speak to a member of the team by email here.
